Founded in October 1991 as a joint venture between Itochu Corporation, Hagoromo Foods (Japan), and another foreign partner, ATI began commercial operations in November 1992. Located in Pasuruan, East Java, the company specializes in high-quality canned tuna, serving markets across Japan, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, Canada, Africa, and domestically in Indonesia. ATI sources raw tuna sustainably from waters around Indonesia and the Pacific and Indian Oceans, applying Japanese technology and expertise in processing to ensure excellence under the “SunBell” brand.
